Our team—90% queer, 100% radical—transforms trauma into strategy: training grassroots activists, hacking digital safety tools, and forcing systems to see our humanity.
Who We Are
R NetworQ is a queer-led organization that emerged from the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ youth who refused to accept invisibility as safety. Founded in 2019 by survivors who understood that traditional advocacy wasn't reaching the most vulnerable, we knew we had to create something different.
Our founders, having navigated family rejection, school violence, and systemic discrimination, recognized that healing and justice must happen simultaneously. We don't just fight for policy changes—we create the support systems our community needs to survive and thrive while that fight continues.

Our Programs & Impact
Five years later, we've grown from a small collective to a movement that has directly supported over 2,000 queer youth across Kenya. Our model of peer-led, trauma-informed activism has been replicated in Uganda, Tanzania, and South Africa.
But numbers only tell part of our story. The real impact is in the young person who no longer considers suicide, the family that learns to love their queer child, the policy that changes because we refused to be silent.
